Allt är en förberedelse för detta:
During the weekend of 25FEB12-26FEB12, Scandinavian Airlines (SK), Blue 1 (KF) and Widerøe (WF) will migrate its current reservation and inventory system ResAid to Amadeus IT solution - Altéa.
Altéa is the same IT system most STAR Alliance and other European airlines already use. With this system change, the SAS Group carriers will be able to offer many new products as they are developed and deployed for your market by the GDS’s.
System outage on 25FEB12-26FEB12
During the evening and night 25FEB12-26FEB12 (Saturday-Sunday), there will be a system outage from 17.00 CET (16.00 UTC) for 12-14 hours until around 07.00 CET (06.00 UTC).
-During the outage it will be possible for travel agents to request a new reservation and special service in Amadeus or any other GDS. This applies for both operating and marketing flights for SK, KF and WF. However, due to the system outage the request cannot be confirmed immediately, and the action code in the PNR will be HN (Holding Need)/NN (Need). Once the system is activated again, a confirmation, waitlist or reject status will be updated in the booking. The same applies to changes for already created PNR’s.
-It will not be possible to issue, reissue or refund any e-tickets on SK, KF or WF, or perform any changes to segments in already created PNR’s during the outage. This also applies for documents validated on other carriers if they include SK, KF and WF coupons.
-For products like online booking tools, the SAS Group flights (SK, KF and WF) will not be possible to book during the outage.
-The flights for the SAS Group carriers (SK, KF and WF) will not be shown in timetables on online travel agencies sites during the system outage.
-Bookings on SAS own websites will not be possible during the outage. SAS Call centers cannot either support you with bookings during this time.
