BA flyttar fem destinationer till Heathrow terminal 1

I slutet av oktober flyttar British Airways fem destinationer från terminal 5 till terminal 1. Detta görs i samband med en integrering av de tidigare BMI linjer som BA tagit över.

Från 28 oktober kommer Basel, Düsseldorf, Luxemburg, Lyon och Toulouse flytta från terminal 5 till terminal 1. Samtidigt kommer linjerna till Agadir, Bergen och Stavanger, som tidigare trafikerats av BMI, flytta till terminal 5.

SVG och BGO kommer även utökas till 2x per dag. Kanske det blir ARN-LHR-BGO som TP run framöver för att hälsa på mor och far :)

Aberdeen

From 28 October 2012 all flights to Aberdeen will operate from Heathrow Terminal 5, and there will be up to eight flights per day.

Belfast

British Airways will launch a new timetable to Northern Ireland on 28 October, 2012. Up to seven flights per day will be offered from Heathrow Terminal 1 to Belfast.

From 28 October 2012 all flights to Bergen will operate from Heathrow Terminal 5, and there will be two flights per day.

Dusseldorf

From 28 October 2012 all flights to Dusseldorf will move from Heathrow Terminal 5 to Heathrow Terminal 1

Edinburgh

From 28 October 2012 all flights to Edinburgh will operate from Heathrow Terminal 5. There will be up to 12 flights per day, and larger Boeing 767 aircraft will be used on selected services.

Faro

From 28 October 2012 we will increase our winter sun flights from London Gatwick to Faro, with five flights per week compared to four flights per week last winter.

Frankfurt

We have recently increased frequency on our service between London City and Frankfurt. We now operate up to four flights per day.

Gibraltar

From 28 October 2012 flights from Heathrow Terminal 3 to Gibraltar will increase from seven to nine flights per week. The additional services will operate on Saturdays and Sundays.

Glasgow

We have recently increased frequency on our service between London City and Glasgow. We now operate up to six flights per day.

Hanover

British Airways will launch a new timetable to Hanover in Germany on 28 October, 2012. Up to three flights per day will operate from Heathrow Terminal 1

Ibiza

Our summer only service from London City to Ibiza will be extended to a year round operation this winter, with flights departing on Thursdays and Sundays from 28 October, 2012.

Luxembourg

From 28 October 2012 all flights to Luxembourg will move from Heathrow Terminal 5 to Heathrow Terminal 1, and will increase in frequency from two flights per day to three flights per day.

Lyon

From 28 October 2012 all flights to Lyon will move from Heathrow Terminal 5 to Heathrow Terminal 1, and will increase in frequency from three flights per day to four flights per day.

Malaga

From 28 October 2012 we will increase our winter sun flights from London Gatwick to Malaga, with ten flights per week compared to seven flights per week last winter.

Manchester

From 28 October 2012 all flights to Manchester will operate from Heathrow Terminal 5, and there will be up to 11 flights per day.

Marrakech

From 28 October 2012 all flights to Marrakech will operate from London Gatwick. We are increasing the frequency from three flights per week to seven flights per week. [This means the bmi service to Marrakech is cancelled.]

Marseille

From 28 October 2012 all flights to Marseille will move from London Gatwick to London Heathrow Terminal 1, and will increase in frequency (versus last winter) from two flights per day to three flights per day.

Oslo

Flights from Heathrow Terminal 5 to Oslo will increase from four to five flights per day from 28 October, 2012.

Palma

Our summer only service from London City to Palma on the island of Majorca will be extended to a year round operation this winter, with flights departing on Thursdays and Sundays from 28 October, 2012.

Salzburg

Flights to Salzburg in Austria will increase to five per week for the winter ski season from 18 December, 2012. The extra return services will operate on Thursdays and Saturdays.

Stavanger

From 28 October 2012 all flights to Stavanger in Norway will operate from Heathrow Terminal 5, and there will be two flights per day.

Det är fantastiskt bra nyheter att BA ökar till två dagliga till Bergen, och att de dessutom flyttar till T5 gör ju knappast saken sämre :) Har veckopendlat till LHR med BMI från Bergen, T1 är en trång och sliten skit-terminal (iaf vid ankomst) som jag gärna slipper.

BA har hittills haft en värdelös avgångstid från BGO, med ankomsttid till LHR så sent på kvällen att eventuella anslutningar krävt en övernattning. Om de kan få en avgång runt kl 8 på morgonen så ska jag börja fundera på att byta allians. BA och oneworld har annars varit totalt ointressanta för oss som bor i Bergen.

British Airways is boosting service to Bergen and Stavanger starting 28OCT12, with the addition of 2nd daily flight. These flights are currently operated by bmi once a day. Schedule from 28OCT12:

In GDS, British Airways has removed London Heathrow – Hanover service from 28OCT12, which previously to be operating 3 times a day with A319, instead of ERJ145.

Kanske, BA har väl mer än 1 avgång per dag till ganska många destinationer, så då är 11:55 ok. Dessvärre är det en hopplös tid för affärsresenärer, men jag hoppas de klarar sig bättre än BMI trots det. På BMI-avgångarna var det ofta bara 15-20 pax i en A319 eller A320.
