Fick följande från en SAS pilot, kommer från deras interna portal om ID resor, inget kavajtvång i business.
Star Alliance and SAS have a common ID dress code. It is applicable for travel on the Alliance network and should also be a guiideline for travel on other airlines.
It applies to travel for leisure reasons as well as for company business reasons.
The dress code does not tell what should be worn, but rather what is unacceptable.
The judgment of check-in agents and service managers will prevail where the dress code is questionable.
Above all; use your common sense and respect for the airline you travel on.
Examples of unacceptable attire in all classes
Any type of beach clothing.
Any type of work-out clothing including jogging suits, sweat pants, rugby pants or sports attire.
Tank-tops.
Any type of cut-off clothing or clothing with ragged edges or with holes (including designers holes).
Shorts, Bermuda shorts or leggings as well as extremely short or micro-mini skirts.
Any type of clothing with offensive graphics or terminology.
Clothing with exposed midriffs, halter bra or bra tops.
Any type of provocative, revealing or see-through clothing.
Undergarments worn as outer garments.
For travel in Business Class: Appearance should be in the mode of smart casual attire.
Ground staff must enforce the dress code consistently, and have no authority to make exceptions. Passengers who are not suitable dressed shall be refused transportation.
