Nu har jag fått svar från Qatar och inte helt oväntat ber de så mycket om ursäkt för förseningen, en försening som ligger utanför deras ansvar? Det framgår dock inte vad som var orsaken till förseningen. Nedan kan ni läsa det standardiserade svaret från kundtjänst (suck!):

This is in reference to your letter received through tell-us pertaining to your recent travel experience with us. First of all, we would like to take this opportunity to sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused to you and to your family due to the delayed departure of your flight QR613/ 03March 2013 from Bangkok to Doha.
We have gone through your e-mail and we are sorry to learn of your disappointment as your flight arrived late in Doha, subsequently you were not able to travel on your booked flight QR085/03March 2013 Doha to Copenhagen as you originally planned. You will appreciate the fact that disruptions of this nature are unforeseen and totally beyond our control.
Please allow us to share. In the event of flight delays, our airport staff reroute affected passengers to the destination indicated on the ticket by our own scheduled services or the scheduled services of another carrier. In view of this our airport staff had rebooked you to travel on the next flight QR085/04 March 2013 and accommodated you at Doha Grand Hotel.
