If you’ve heard this before, you’re not alone. These mix-ups happen every day. There are even some confused foreigners, who’ve simply given up and now refer to both countries as Swederland. Fortunately, there’s help to end this country confusion. SWISS is running a contest where you and a puzzled pal have the chance to win two tickets to Switzerland. 24 tickets are given away in total, where one winning team will receive golden tickets. For your chance to win, all you need to do is to find a non-Swede friend on Facebook (living outside of Sweden) that you want to teach about the two countries – and tell us why your friend needs an intensive course in telling Sweden and Switzerland apart."
"The golden ticket
The team who has written the most convincing motivation will receive golden tickets. The golden ticket includes a full-week travel through Switzerland on the world-renowned panoramic trains. Returning flight tickets to Zurich, accommodation, breakfast and dinner included. The train tour starts in Lucerne, taking the winners on a journey through Montreux, Zermatt, Lugano and Zürich. Along the way, the travelers will have the chance to discover the diversity of Switzerland: the different languages, landscapes and gastronomy.
The runners-up
Another 11 lucky teams will get SWISS flight tickets to and from Zurich, Switzerland. The prize also includes a Swiss Travel Pass: an all-in-one ticket that not only enables you to travel through all of Switzerland by train, bus and boat but also gives you free admission to more than 480 museums and 50% price reduction on most mountain railways.
