Upcoming changes to Fogg Free and Fogg Premium
Fogg’s mission from the very start of our journey was to provide flat-rate Internet access across borders. We wanted to give you to the power to search, stream, tweet and email on your tablet without having to seek out Wi-Fi connections. To enable us to spread our vision to millions across the globe, we have partnered with Hewlett-Packard and launched a brand new service: HP DataPass.
During 2014 we want to ensure that our resources are streamlined into making Fogg the most valuable platform for mobile connectivity. In order to do this, we will have to close the Fogg Free and Fogg Premium services. But don’t worry, your journey with us isn’t over…
Here's how the changes will work:
- By the end of 2014 we will have closed the Fogg Free and Fogg Premium services. When this happens your Fogg card will automatically be converted into an HP DataPass so you can continue to surf for free with no extra charge. HP DataPass includes 250 MB of free data per month that can be used in Sweden only.
- Later this year, closer to the date of conversion to HP DataPass, we will of course send you more detailed information about the change. You will have the option to terminate your account, but we really hope that you will continue your journey with us.
- As of February 18, customers who have signed up for the premium service will no longer be able to connect in Norway. Please note that if you already have paid for Fogg Premium, you can continue to surf in Norway until the end of your 30-day subscription period. We sincerely apologize to Fogg users who are inconvenienced by this change.
We are not planning to add any further countries to the service before its closure but you will still be able to connect in the following countries:
Fogg Free: Sweden, Denmark and the UK
Fogg Premium: Sweden, Denmark, UK, Ireland and Austria
