Idag skrev jag ytterligare ett brev till Vueling.
"Dear Vueling,
I have now given you the opportunity to give me an answer for 20 months, which I certainly think is more time than needed to give me an answer regarding flight VY1871 the 17th of July 2013.
All I am looking for is an answer regarding WHY flight VY1871 the 17th of July 2013 was delayed. You have failed to give me any reason what so ever. Please, do not ignore me. I know my rights to compensation."
Varpå någon timme senare får jag svaret:
"Dear customer,
Thank you for contacting Vueling.
In response to your e-mail we would like to inform you that as indicated in email sent on 08/08/2013 flight was delayed due to extraordinary circumstances. No further information can be provided, due to security and privacy reasons.
In the Regulation 261/2004 of the European Council it is stipulated that the airlines do not have to pay compensations or expenses when the cancellation is caused by extraordinary circumstances that could not have been avoided even if all the right measures had been taken.
If you find it appopiate, you may start any other action. However our staff has acted at all times according to terms and conditions of carriage and according to the actual legislation.
Best regards,"
Är det bara jag som tycker att "No further information can be provided, due to security and privacy reasons." låter som skitsnack?
