The New Domestic Concept is designed to strengthen SAS premium product and to support SAS successful self service products. It is divided into four parts; SAS Self Service Baggage Drop (already implemented at Arlanda Terminal 4, Oslo Airport and major Norwegian airports), Service Points, Self Service Fast Track (tested at Göteborg Airport domestic between March and May 2012) and Light Lounges.
Malmö Airport is chosen as a test pilot airport for SAS Service Point and will be a show room for our new domestic concept! We now take a step forward and meet our passengers in an open and welcoming environment. The service point is a meeting place when traveling with SAS, where we offer personalized support with:
• the self service flow, by both clearer navigation signage and by gathering rebranded self service kiosks and internet kiosks for ticket sales etcetera
• passenger assistance, e.g. unaccompanied minors, passengers with special needs
• assistance in irregularity situations
Our customers will also be able to take part of SAS different offers, as we will have a natural place for promotions, communication and offerings at the Service points.
