SAS och THAI Smile har ingen interline agreement

THAI:s lågprisdivision THAI Smile har flightnummer som börjar med WExxxx.
SAS och THAI har interline agreement vilket innebär t ex att man kan checka in väskan hela vägen.
Detta gäller inte när man flyger med THAI Smile. Inte nog med det även de THAI Smile flygningarna som bokades som TG flightnummer (mellan TG1000-2999) förlorar också interline möjlighet.

Om ni har en bokning med dessa flightnummer, bör ni kontakta flygbolaget eller resebyrån omgående.

THAI Smile operation under WE airline code

Effective 02OCT14, THAI Smile operation will operate under its own designator code WE instead of TG.

WE does not have any interline agreement with any carriers and this will affect SK passengers already booked for travel on TG flight series 1000-2999, operated by WE.

In order to avoid problems for passengers:
Fare rule is updated with restrictions in flight application, i.e. TG flight series 1000-2999 not permitted.
All interline tickets with confirmed bookings on TG flight series 1000-2999 must be reissued or revalidated on/before 01OCT14, and TG will honor and accept tickets for travel until 09OCT14.
TG and WE are in the process of system migration and flight information will be updated in the system.
Reservations after 09OCT14 must be rebooked on TG operated flights and tickets must be reissued.

Transfer of some regional routes to THAI Smile, operating with smaller aircraft for better efficiency and cost effectiveness

THAI Smile to operate the Bangkok-Hyderabad, Bangkok-Luang Prabang, and Bangkok-Changsha routes once THAI Smile receives permission from the respective aviation authorities to operate to these destinations. Furthermore, the change in aircraft type will have no impact to passengers who have already made reservations. Passengers may continue to book flights and make reservations as per normal channels.
