Nu när vi har fått veta om man kan använda Amex 2-4-1 voucher för bonusresa med Star Alliance partner flyg till SAS destination , kan man inte ta stopover om man flyger SAS Intercontinental flygning, även på Star Alliance bonusresa?
Jag har kollat runt på SAS webbsida och det står inte specifikt att stopover gäller vid bonusresor endast med SK/KF/WF flygningar.

T ex
Stockholm-(SK)-Newark[stopover]-(UA)-Miami
eller
Göteborg-(SK)-Köpenhamn-(SK)-Bangkok[stopover]-(SQ)-Singapore

Award rules & service fee

• Rebooking of flight awards is allowed (date & time) up to one 24 hours before the outward departure time, provided that your points have not expired. Once you have started your award trip, return trip cannot be rebooked nor refunded.
• You can change the time and date on your award flights online. To book to another destination, or change to a one-way ticket, call the telephone sales.
• Cancellation of flight/hotel awards is allowed up to 24 hours before the award are to be used. Expired points cannot be reused.
• Car awards, order car voucher online and then book your car of your choice through Avis or Hertz.
• Hotel awards can also be booked online on selected hotel partners.
• A service fee will be charged for cancellations and changes of awards via telephone, e-mail or fax.
• Awards can only be issued by SAS i.e., not by travel agents or other partners.
• SAS can cancel a award at any time if rules are violated.
• The traveler must pay any applicable charges, such as airport taxes or fuel charges.

Jag ser inget direkt som motsäger din teori. Är det någon som har läst annorlunda så vore det av stort intresse med en länk eller motsvarande.
Det skulle onekligen öppna upp stora möjligheter om det fungerar i praktiken.

Rules for booking of Companion ticket

• Valid on SAS as first choice for up to 2 passengers (if no SAS flights available on the requierd dates check with STAR)
• Only valid for travel from Scandinavian country to any SAS-destination worldwide
• The discounted flight award needs to be booked by phone (i.e. online booking is not possible)
• Only one flight award discount per year and member
• A member only entitled to one Companion Voucher per 12-month period, and required spend collected in one 12-month period cannot be carried over into the next 12-month period.
• Mixed classes and open jaw are not allowed.
• Outbound travel must be taken before the expiry date of the voucher, which is 12 months.

Ubbe, jag tror AHO talar om "stopover" och inte "open jaw". Jag har för mig att det redan har varit uppe att "open jaw" inte fungerar. Jag måste dock säga att jag tycker SAS faktisk visar en enorm flexibilitet här med denna regel. Tyvärr lär man inte få F med detta gissar jag men det, och om jag läser rätt så gäller detta bara till:

Nu kommer jag kanske med irrelevanta uppgifter?
Men jag drar upp det för säkerhetsskull.
När jag var i kontakt med EB Sverige ang bonusresa med olika routings i USA och Pacific så var agenten i fråga tvärsäker på att man fick ta sammanlagt 4 st Stopovers 2 åt varje håll vid bonusresor. Dock frågade jag inte om hur länge dessa stopovers fick vara.
